1. Payment:.
All Payments are referenced to a fixed price in UK pounds sterling. We accept PAYPAL and most Credit or Debit Cards - via our website or on the telephone.
2. Delivery:
It is our aim to ship all pre-paid orders within 48 hours of receipt of order. If a product is not able to be shipped, customers will be informed by e-mail, or by telephone.
3. Post and Packing charges: Please click on the P & P charges link to view these in detail.
4. Returns policy: We offer a 14 day refund of the price paid for the full quantity of all yarn purchased. The cost of the return postage must be borne by the customer, and products must be received by SKD in a re-saleable condition. Typically, SKD will make the refund back to Paypal, or to the card used in the original purchase.
Any other returns requests will be considered only within 60 days of the original invoice date and will be accepted only at the discretion of Scandinavian Knitting Design. In these cases a re-stocking charge of 20% of the price paid may be levied. The above return policy should be considered as an addition to your statutory rights.
5. Delivery times:
UK Customers
1st class - Typically 1 or 2 days.
2nd class - Typically 2 to 3 days.
PARCEL POST - Typically 5 days.
EU countries - Variable: 5 - 7 working days is an average.
We recommend for some countries, and especially for France, selecting a RECORDED and TRACKABLE service to ensure that lost parcels can be traced.
International Deliveries outside of the EU are variable, but 5 - 7 working days to hub cities within the destination countries, should be considered an average.
6. Agreements between the various local Postal Organisations require that
the following times must elapse before a claim can be made for lost parcels:
UK - 15 days
EUROPE - 20 days
INTERNATIONAL outside of Europe - 25 days.
7. Privacy: All private information retained by SKD such as names, addresses and e-mail addresses will always be kept in confidence and not given to other organisations.
