The yarn is very soft and is extremely comfortable to wear directly on your skin; it doesn't itch, even with sensitive skins. Drops Silke Alpaca has a slightly reflective and delicate surface with a rustic look. It is specifically suitable for use with smaller garments, crochet articles and accessories.
It also looks wonderful in larger garments, but here it is very important to keep a constant eye on the knitting tension and to avoid elastic stitch techniques, like rib and English rib.
